Hyaluronic Fillers

Refresh6

Dermal fillers are excellent treatments that provide aesthetic solutions for a range of common facial concerns, provide a beautiful softness , and a more youthful appearance without surgery.

As we age, the facial skin is affected by the loss of collagen, elastin, the bone structure changes and fat deposits deflate. This results in a flattening of the cheeks, sagging of the jowls and development of lines, wrinkles and thinning of lips, hollowing the temporal area, and on it goes.

The younger clients like to enhance what nature has given them with enhancement of cheek bones and lips as desired.

The fillers are made of hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring product in the skin, but declines with age. If the end result is not satisfactory, the hyaluronic acid can be adjusted using hyalase or the product can be dissolved completely .

Common areas

A consultation includes,
-individualisied
-pain relief, either and /or local cream
-needle or cannula

Lips

– to voluminous, hydrate, stop lipstick bleeding lines or create a pout, to create appealing natural looking lips

Fine lines/wrinkles/ deep lines

(around the mouth, nasolabial area, cheek lines)
A combination of treatments is available and may be required to physically lift a fold; or crease with a deeper stronger filler; and a softer filler for the fine lines; all to create the smooth youthful appearance.
A firmer filler can strengthen and appear to hold up the facial tissue without ballooning the cheeks and inverting the V shape desired.

Cheek bone enhancement

Placement of the filler to the cheek bone area highlights the cheek to ensure the light enhances and strengthens the V shape the female face and the eyes. When the V is reversed as we age, we can see a heaviness of the lower face which is considered
unattractive.

Bridge of the nose

Tiny amounts of filler can change the shape and look of the nose.

Effect

The fillers can last up to 2 years, depending on the product used and rate of breakdown of the filler. As the filler breaks down it converts to simple sugars and is excreted.
